Vogue World 2025: The Ultimate Recap of Every Unforgettable Second!

From Nicole's opening number to Doja's finale, not a single sparkly detail was missed. Get the full scoop here!

Hold onto your director's chairs, darlings! Vogue World 2025 just transformed the historic Paramount Pictures lot into the most spectacular collision of fashion and film. We’re breaking down the entire event, act by fabulous act, so you can feel like you had a front-row seat!

Nicole Kidman’s Dazzling Opening

Baz Luhrmann directed the one and only Nicole Kidman to open the show, and she delivered pure magic. Performing “Put the Blame On Mame” from Gilda, she then strutted the runway in a custom black draped satin bustier dress by Chanel’s Matthieu Blazy, a direct tribute to Rita Hayworth. A star-powered start!

Kendall Jenner’s Show-Stopping Tribute

Following sponsored segments with Maude Apatow and Cynthia Erivo, supermodel Kendall Jenner graced the catwalk in the actual pink costume Nicole Kidman wore in 2001’s Moulin Rouge! The front row, including designer Aurora James, Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and costumer Ruth E. Carter, cheered her on.

A Love Letter to the Renegades

Cue the smoke machines for act two! This act featured Gabbriette in Schiaparelli, Kodi Smit-McPhee as the Mad Hatter, and Anok Yai as Edward Scissorhands. The Gilded Age’s Louisa Jacobson then stomped down the catwalk in custom McQueen, while Anok Yai gave Gabbriette a makeshift haircut mid-strut!

All Hail the Queen

Julia Garner skipped down the catwalk as a Manolo-clad Marie Antoinette for act three, followed by trays of pastries, a swaggering LaKeith Stanfield, and an elegant Greta Lee; both in Dior.

A Misty-Eyed Tribute to Annie Hall

In a heartfelt nod to Diane Keaton, model Betsy Gaghan wore head-to-toe Ralph Lauren, perfectly channeling Annie Hall as Keaton’s own voice singing “Seems Like Old Times” played. Pure, emotional magic.

Gracie Abrams Gives Us Goosebumps

The musician kicked off act four with a sweet rendition of Carole King’s “I Feel the Earth Move,” before transitioning to her own song, “That’s So True.” Accompanying Gracie was Cara Delevingne in custom Marc Jacobs, Lila Moss in Valentino, and models sporting costumes from and inspired by the likes of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Walk the Line, A Complete Unknown, Atonement, Grease, Rear Window, and Breathless.

Hunter Schafer & Jeff Goldblum’s Double Feature

The apple-munching Euphoria actor Hunter Schafer slipped into Tilda Swinton’s plush period dress from the ravishing 1992 drama Orlando. She was joined by the one and only Jeff Goldblum, the wizard from Wicked himself, in sparkly Gucci. His strut was everything.

Doja Cat Brings it Home

Then came the joyous finale with costumes from Dune and a runway return from Adriana Lima in Burberry. Then, Doja Cat shimmied to “Gorgeous,” in a custom chainmail mini by costume designer Michael Schmidt, which drew inspiration from Tina Turner’s unforgettable look from 1985’s Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. In the show’s final moments, everyone returned for their bow, and Luhrmann declared: “It’s a wrap!”
