INDEX Saudi Arabia 2024: A Showcase of Innovation in Design and Hospitality
Explore cutting-edge trends with 500+ exhibitors and premier events at the Kingdom’s largest hospitality and design trade show
INDEX Saudi Arabia is going to be live in just about a week. The upcoming edition is the third installment of the event, with 500+ exhibitors and more elaborate discussion programming. The debut of micro-events - Workspace Summit, Design District, and INDEX Saudi Arabia Future Stars - is adding to the excitement. Notably, some things are making a comeback.
The Kingdom's largest hotel and hospitality trade show.
The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia is the largest trade show in the Kingdom. Leading specialists from the hospitality industry visit the expo to network and conduct business. The expo gives professionals the opportunity to engage with key vendors, learn from a variety of key hospitality executives at our conferences, and visit our Saudi Hospitality Awards.
Since 2012, The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia has connected worldwide providers with the region's most important, enthusiastic, and affluent buyers. Every year, thousands of serious buyers attend the event, including hotel owners and operators, general managers, procurement managers, chefs, F&B directors, and restaurant managers, assisting you in finding the people and businesses that are most relevant to you.
Love That Design Awards in INDEX Saudi Arabia 2024
For the second year in a row, Love That Design will honour and reward the best stands at INDEX Saudi Arabia. This prize, which is divided into four categories—Best Large Stand, Best Small Stand, Best Use of Colour, and Best Use of Light—aims to acknowledge exhibitors' efforts and willingness to go above and beyond for INDEX Saudi Arabia. There are no submissions or entry requirements; all built stands at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre are eligible.
On the first day of INDEX Saudi Arabia 2024, a panel of eminent judges will evaluate stands. The next day, winners will be presented with plaques to display at their booths. The winners will get a plaque and unique coverage on Love That Design's social media channels. INDEX Saudi Arabia and Love That Design hope that the campaign will remind people that aesthetics are just as essential as function, particularly in the advertising and design business.
Explore Bath & Sanitary Trends: Technology Meets Sculpture Luxury
Luxury is bathing one's body in a large bathtub at a hotel, but it can also be a cold shower on a hot day. 'Pampering oneself' is a luxurious experience that begins in the bathroom. In a thriving region like Saudi Arabia, where hospitality venues are significant draws, designing restrooms with purpose is a crucial aspect of the design brief. Consider "stunning views from an equally stunning bathtub."
Office Furniture is Going Resimmercial: Witness the Transformation
'Work from home or make offices feel like homes'; top talent is unwilling to forgo comfort, and businesses have caught up quickly. From the widespread usage of art to the rise of biophilia in offices, creating a sense of belonging in corporate environments is a 'trend' that many designers argue is already the standard. Furniture manufacturers such as Teknion, Quinti, Haworth, and MIDJ will also be present at INDEX Saudi Arabia, bringing a variety of items. Teknion's Modus Balance Chair and Edge Free Coffee Table represent this movement. The F500 Lounge by Studio TK stands out with its whimsical curve while maintaining an executive style and a classic base. Other pieces at the stand include industrial but vivid 070 Sofa and Glider from Artifort.
Quinti's latest bulbous HILL Sofa and simple CRUISE chair arrive directly from Milan. Other main goods on show include the That's It task chair, the Aventador executive chair, and the Only Ju soft seating. MIDJ's effervescent Plissé and Pippi collections will be joined by Amelie, Lea, and Bloom furniture pieces, each with enough personality to make work (and other environments) 'fun' through furniture.
Discover products to fine-tune experiences in lighting, flooring, technology, and surfaces.
Clint Nagata explained in a recent interview with Love That Design how important experience and authenticity are to Generation Z and Millenials. Lights, flooring, and surfaces are examples of features that, when well considered, can help to complete a room. Ege Carpets, in conjunction with Noble International Group, will launch their new collection, Turath, at INDEX Saudi Arabia 2024.
Turath captures the essence of Najdi, the poetic elegance of calligraphic Love Letters, and the splendour of the Sahara, combining durability and tradition. NGC Nafees, a UAE-based producer of wallpaper, floors, and fabrics, will transfer the enchantment of these details into a 4SPACE-designed exhibit. Jaipur Rugs, an Indian rug manufacturer, is well-known for its artisanship and societal values. At INDEX Saudi Arabia, they will showcase their most recent international and domestic collaboration. At the Hotel & Hospitality Expo Saudi Arabia, Lutron will showcase its integrated systems (such as Lutron Athena and myRoom XC) that can manage lighting, blinds, and temperature controls.
These systems lend themselves to a number of spaces in hotels like conference rooms, guestrooms, lobbies and restaurants. Elevator brand, Aritco shall also present their range of compact lifts, from PublicLift Access to HomeLifts.
Huda Lighting, a UAE-based producer of decorative and high-quality lighting, is launching a unique cooperation with Bomma, Articolo, and Lasvit. At the trade expo, Abensal will present brands such as LZF, DCW Editions, Penta, and Euroluce. Messara Trading and Skyline Design will showcase their outdoor furniture pieces, which are resistant to the severe climate of the Middle East, in addition to unique lighting and flooring options. Look for sisal carpets, a new line of solar lighting, LVT and SPC from Aspecta, carpet rolls, carpet tiles and WPC decking.
See Everything: INDEX Collection, Design District, and INDEX Saudi Arabia Future Stars.
While INDEX Collection will highlight the workmanship and brilliance of bespoke furniture, textiles, and decor, Design District will feature two spaces developed in accordance with the theme 'Sense of Al-Najdi: Embrace the Spirit of Saudi Arabia'. IDA designed the Al-Liwan (The Living Room) and Al-Roshan (The Bedroom) to take visitors on an immersive trip. The INDEX Saudi Arabia Future Stars competition will provide an opportunity for student interior designers to demonstrate their talent and vision for the region
