Dubai, May 2025 — This summer, Dubai’s art scene will witness a transformative fusion of performance, painting, and emotion in SEVEN WAVES OF WHALES — an immersive art experience where the boundaries between observer and participant dissolve.

The event is produced by JULS, the creative communications agency behind some of Dubai’s most talked-about projects in fintech and lifestyle.

‍

Following her acclaimed debut at ME Dubai, multidisciplinary artist JUNA returns with a powerful new series that reimagines whales as guardians of emotional depth and collective memory. Her work merges visual poetry with a philosophical approach to art as a tool for transformation.

What Makes This Event Unique?

1. A Floating Whale Above Every Continent
At the heart of the performance is a series of original acrylic paintings depicting a majestic whale gliding above each of the seven continents — a symbol of wisdom, freedom, and planetary unity. The journey begins and ends in Dubai, inviting guests to reflect on their inner and outer worlds through stillness and motion.

2. A Live Performance as Emotional Journey
The paintings are brought to life through a live, multi-sensory performance in which a single performer transforms through seven symbolic acts, embodying the spirit of each continent. With each transformation, an accessory is added — until the final act, where all are removed in a symbolic return to essence. Storytelling and music accompany each scene, offering a meditative experience beyond the visual.

3. Art in the Name of Compassion
This event transcends aesthetics — it’s a gesture of empathy. All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to two animal shelters in need. Attendees are invited to make a direct impact through their participation and purchases.

4. A Boutique Villa Experience in Dubai
Set within a private villa rather than a formal gallery, the event embraces intimacy and resonance. With only 30 invited guests, a curated oceanic ambiance, and a custom-designed scent and soundscape, this is an atmosphere where art, ritual, and reflection converge.
