The Windrunner: Unveiling the World's Largest Aircraft Revolutionizing Global Transport
From wind turbines to military might: Radia Aerospace’s 108-Meter Colossus is set to redefine air freight and military operations

American company Radia Aerospace has designed the world's largest transport aircraft: the Windrunner. Originally designed to transport wind turbine blades, it will now have other military and commercial uses.
The Windrunner is the entity's flagship project, intended to revolutionize global military transport. It measures 108 meters long, 24 meters high and has a wingspan of 80 meters.
This aircraft uses four engines, and it reaches a speed of 740 km/h. The airplane appears large, but the plane is light enough to land on short, unpaved runways. This is essential for the aircraft to be flown in remote areas and on rough terrain. The goal is for the aircraft to be able to transport large wind turbine elements.
In terms of capacity, this aircraft can carry up to 72 tons therefore breaking the traditional concept of being able to move more weight than volume.
