Ramadan 2025: Iftar Timings and Prayer Schedule in Dubai
Official prayer timings to begin and break your fast during the holy month

Following the specified prayer timings, Muslims in Dubai will fast for slightly more than 14 hours every day during Ramadan 2025. The first prayer of the day, Fajr, is offered before sunrise to start the fast, and Maghrib is offered after sunset to conclude it.
The meal that breaks the fast, iftar, varies by a few minutes every day throughout March due to fluctuations in the hour of sunset. For individuals following Ramadan in Dubai, the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat provides the official timetable, which guarantees correctness.
Because the Islamic Hijri calendar is based on a lunar cycle, Ramadan advances by around 11 days a year. As a result, depending on the season, fasting hours may be longer or shorter. Keep in mind that local prayer hours can differ if you're travelling between places like Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
One of the Five Pillars of Islam is fasting, which is practiced to purify the body and the soul. By encouraging Muslims to experience hunger and thirst, it strengthens their commitment to their faith and thankfulness while instilling self-discipline, humility, and empathy.
As a reminder of the fasting schedule, mosques all throughout Dubai recite the call to prayer five times a day during Ramadan. Millions of people use these prayers to guide their daily observance, and their significance is increased throughout this holy month.
