Guerlain Brings the Spirit of Summer to Dubai with the Terracotta Café du Soleil

The French beauty house transformed Dubai into a celebration of sunshine, craftsmanship, and beauty with an immersive experience inspired by its iconic Terracotta collection

This summer, Guerlain invited guests in Dubai to step inside the warm, radiant world of Terracotta Café du Soleil—an experiential event celebrating the Maison's signature bronzing collection and its newest beauty launches. The gathering brought together beauty enthusiasts, creators, and industry insiders for a day dedicated to artistry, innovation, and meaningful moments.

Hosted at Club Swell, a retro-inspired wellness destination, the venue reflected the essence of the Terracotta universe through earthy tones, lush greenery, and sunlit interiors. Every detail echoed the effortless glow and warmth associated with the collection, creating an atmosphere that felt both relaxed and refined.

One of the event's highlights was an exclusive masterclass led by Guerlain Regional Make-Up Ambassador Mohammed Hindash. During the session, guests explored techniques for creating naturally radiant skin while discovering several of the Maison's newest products, including Terracotta Joli Teint, Terracotta Golden Dunes, and the latest KissKiss Honey Infused Lipstick collection. The presentation also marked one year since Hindash joined Guerlain, making the occasion especially significant.

The latest Terracotta launches continue Guerlain's tradition of combining beauty with exceptional craftsmanship. Terracotta Joli Teint delivers a fresh, sun-kissed complexion, while the limited-edition Golden Dunes compact features refillable cases inspired by Moroccan zellige mosaics. Created in collaboration with the artisans of Aït Manos, each design reflects traditional craftsmanship through intricate geometric patterns and marbled finishes reminiscent of desert landscapes.

The new KissKiss Honey Infused Lipstick collection introduces twenty vibrant shades formulated with ingredients such as beeswax, royal jelly, and propolis extract. Designed to combine colour with skincare benefits, the lipsticks offer hydration and comfort alongside rich pigmentation.

Beyond product discovery, Guerlain created a series of interactive experiences that encouraged guests to immerse themselves in the brand's creative universe. A live DJ soundtrack accompanied the event, while a dedicated portrait studio captured radiant beauty moments inspired by the Terracotta aesthetic. Visitors also explored a floral installation and personalised their KissKiss lipsticks with custom engravings, adding a thoughtful finishing touch that reflected the Maison's attention to detail.
