Dubai celebrates Eid Al Adha with free ice cream across the city
Family-friendly parks, live entertainment and beach access announced for the festive holiday weekend

Residents and visitors in Dubai will be treated to complimentary ice cream this Eid Al Adha, as the city prepares a series of family-friendly activities and entertainment during the holiday period.
To mark the occasion, Dubai Municipality announced that free ice cream will be distributed at six popular parks on the first day of Eid between 5pm and 7pm.
Although the public holiday officially begins on Tuesday, May 26, the giveaways will take place on Wednesday, May 27 — the first official day of Eid Al Adha.
Visitors can collect free scoops at the following locations:
- Al Barsha Pond Park
- Al Nahda Pond Park
- Al Safa Park
- Creek Park
- Mushrif National Park
- Zabeel Park
The city has also extended operating hours for several major attractions and public parks during the festive break.
Parks open daily from 8am until midnight:
- Zabeel Park
- Al Mamzar Park
- Al Safa Park
- Creek Park
- Mushrif National Park
Other opening hours during Eid:
- Dubai Frame: 8am – 9pm
- Quranic Park: 8am – midnight
In addition, Dubai Frame will host live music performances on the first two days of Eid from 4pm to 7pm. Families visiting Children’s City can also enjoy stage shows, workshops and entertainment programs during the first three days of celebrations, running daily from 9am until 8pm.
Dubai Municipality also confirmed that several public beaches will be dedicated exclusively to families throughout the holiday.
These include:
- Jumeirah 1
- Jumeirah 2 and the night beach
- Jumeirah 3
- Umm Suqeim 1 and the night beach
- Umm Suqeim 2
- Khor Al Mamzar Beach
One of the highlights this season is the recently renovated Khor Al Mamzar Beach, which now features upgraded recreational spaces, sports facilities and a large outdoor play area designed for families and children.
