The intimate gathering, headlined by Academy Award–winning composer AR Rahman, offered guests a rare opportunity to experience a profound dialogue on life, art, and the timeless poetry of Rumi.

Set against the refined backdrop of one of the Middle East’s most remarkable private art collections, the evening unfolded among masterpieces by Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Diego Rivera, and Francis Bacon. The gallery’s curated setting elevated the event into a multisensory experience, where world-class artworks, music, and conversation merged seamlessly.

Guests were welcomed by Sheikha Somayeh Noor, Chairwoman of Noor Royal Gallery, whose presence added an aura of elegance and hospitality to the night. The program featured an enchanting musical performance by bamboo flute virtuoso Shakthidhar Iyer, flown in from Bengaluru, India, adding a meditative sonic layer to the celebration.

At the center of the evening was an intimate discussion between AR Rahman and Hollywood producer Arno Krimmer, who are currently developing an international feature film inspired by the life and spiritual journey of Rumi. Their conversation explored creativity, purpose, and the enduring influence of the poet’s philosophy—offering guests a privileged glimpse into the artistic process behind this upcoming cinematic work.
