The 36th Edition of the China Visitors Summit Concludes in Al Ain

The 36th edition of the China Visitors Summit (CVS) officially opened in the green oasis city of Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, marking a significant milestone for the region’s inbound tourism.

The Summit, held with the support of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, gathered over 150 leading Chinese travel agencies and tour operators from mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. This made it the largest gathering of Chinese travel industry professionals ever staged outside of China.

Over the course of two dynamic days, 76 Abu Dhabi suppliers – including world-class hotels, resorts, cultural attractions, and DMCs – engaged in nearly 3,000 face-to-face meetings with Chinese buyers. These exchanges fostered new business partnerships, cultural exchanges, and sustainable tourism growth across the Emirate.

Key Highlights of CVS 2025 in Al Ain:

• 150+ Chinese buyers represented travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, luxury travel agencies, MICE planners, OTAs, and bespoke travel designers.
• 76 Abu Dhabi suppliers showcased the very best of the Emirate’s hospitality, attractions, and cultural offerings.
• 3,000 one-to-one meetings were scheduled, creating direct pathways for long-term collaboration and inbound tourism development.
