Saudi Arabia Reveals the Official Theme for National Day 2026

Saudi Arabia has officially introduced the visual identity for its 96th National Day, announcing "Our Pride Lies in Our Nature" as the theme that will unite celebrations across the Kingdom on September 23, 2026.

Presented by Turki Alalshikh, the new identity reflects the country's commitment to honouring its roots while continuing its journey of transformation. The concept celebrates the values and traditions that have shaped Saudi Arabia, while expressing the confidence and ambition driving its future.

The official branding will be used nationwide throughout National Day events and campaigns. Government entities, private sector organisations and nonprofit institutions are expected to implement the approved design across public celebrations, marketing materials, digital platforms and communications, creating a consistent visual identity throughout the country.

At the heart of the 2026 concept are six illustrated symbols inspired by the qualities that define Saudi society: authenticity, courage, determination, generosity, hospitality and vision. Each element reinterprets cultural and historical references through a modern design language, connecting the Kingdom's heritage with its contemporary identity.

The slogan is presented using a custom geometric typeface created specifically for this year's campaign. Combining clean modern forms with subtle traditional influences, the typography reinforces the message of national unity and pride. To preserve the integrity of the identity, official guidelines require all participating organisations to use the approved logo and typography without modification.

As preparations for National Day continue, the new branding will soon become visible across Saudi Arabia. Green-lit landmarks, public art installations, city-wide decorations, digital campaigns and large-scale celebrations will all carry the official identity, creating a unified atmosphere for one of the Kingdom's most significant annual occasions.

With the unveiling of this year's theme, Saudi Arabia once again reinforces National Day as more than a public holiday—it's a nationwide celebration of the country's heritage, achievements and vision for the future.
