Hatta Winter Festival 2025 returns with free shows, outdoor cinemas and NYE fireworks

The Hatta Winter Festival is officially back, and it’s bigger than ever.

The festival kicked off on Friday December 5 and will run until Tuesday, January 2, 2026, turning the mountain town into a packed calendar of entertainment, food and outdoor fun.

Spanning six themed festivals, the event brings together everything from a mountain dome cinema and bustling food markets to creative workshops and a huge New Year’s Eve fireworks display.

No matter what you’re into, there’s plenty to do. Visitors can choose from more than 150 workshops, 30 entertainment activities and 100 live performances, covering arts, fitness, culture and adventure.

Proudly from Dubai Market

This popular market brings together a wide range of local vendors, making it the perfect place to eat, shop and explore. Expect street food, handmade crafts, art pieces and interactive activities.

Grab a bite from Flip Smashburger, treat yourself to crepes from Jeeran, then wrap things up with a visit to Creative Art90 for something a little different.

Outdoor activities

Alongside the usual adventures at Hatta Wadi Hub, there are plenty of seasonal activities to try. Highlights include a Pilates session at Hatta Waterfalls on Friday December 26, an ice rink running from December 5 to 28, and oversized games designed for the whole family.

Evening activities

When the sun goes down, the festival shifts into night mode. The Roxy Cinema Dome will screen popular films daily until Wednesday December 31, with showings starting from 4pm.

For those chasing scenic views and social media-worthy moments, the Path of the Wild Night Hiking Trail is open from 5pm until the end of December.

Foodie pop-ups, live bands and DJs keep the atmosphere buzzing every night, making evenings just as lively as the daytime events.

Workshops

Creative types will want to explore the packed workshop schedule running throughout December. Activities range from flower arranging and perfume making to crafting your own scented candles.

Better still, you can take your handmade items home or gift them as thoughtful Christmas presents.

NYE fireworks

Fireworks are a major part of the celebration, with three separate displays planned throughout December, including a headline show to ring in 2026.

Expect the skies to light up on December 19–20 and December 26–27 at 8pm, followed by the main midnight fireworks on Wednesday December 31.
