The Pre-Show Buzz: A-Listers & Appetizers

Before a single trophy was handed out, the Beverly Hilton was buzzing. The bar was the unofficial meeting point! Sabrina Elba and Evan Ross were deep in convo, while Damson Idris and Ayo Edebiri worked the room. The cutest throwback? A *13 Going on 30* reunion sparked when Mark Ruffalo crossed paths with Jennifer Garner. Aww!

And the dinner? Chef Nobu Matsuhisa crafted a menu that had taste buds winning: yellowtail jalapeño, caviar cups, and lobster salad. Talk about a five-star feast!

The last-minute arrivals were a show themselves. Macaulay Culkin and Jeremy Allen White shared a bro-hug, while Kylie Jenner slipped in solo, meeting Timothée Chalamet at their table. The drama!

Bubbly, Causes, & A Hostess with the Mostest

Moët & Chandon was, as always, the exclusive champagne partner. Mini bottles in a vending machine? Iconic. Their Toast for a Cause initiative had stars like Dwayne Johnson and Kate Hudson raising glasses for charity—so far supporting over 30 nonprofits. Love that!

Then, host Nikki Glaser took the stage for her second year. With “honey-laced sarcasm,” she called the Globes the “most important thing in the world” before roasting everyone from George Clooney to The White Lotus. She even praised Michael B. Jordan and Timothée Chalamet’s commitment. She had the room in stitches!

Trophy Time & Tender Moments

The wins kicked off with Teyana Taylor’s emotional speech for best supporting actress. “Our softness is not a liability,” she told fellow brown sisters and little brown girls. Pass the tissues!

The big winner? One Battle After Another. Paul Thomas Anderson won for best screenplay and director, charmingly calling writers “magpies” who steal from everyone. Adorable!

The new best podcast category debuted with Snoop Dogg presenting to Amy Poehler, who joked she’d always dreamed of this exact moment. Same, Amy. Same.

The Real Action Was in the Room!

Forget the stage—the magic was in the crowd! During breaks, sushi trays appeared at the bar. Stylist Law Roach did quick touch-ups, while stars like Emma Stone ducked out for fixes.

It was a non-stop social scene: Patrick Schwarzenegger chatted with Ayo Edebiri, Selena Gomez arrived with Benny Blanco, and Hailee Steinfeld was spotted embracing her baby bump. Jennifer Lawrence shared a laugh near Kylie Jenner’s popular table pit stop.

The Heated Rivalry duo, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, were fan favorites, mobbed for selfies. Charli XCX was their biggest fan, leaping to her feet for them!

And The Globe Goes To…

Some surprise wins shook things up! While Sinners won for score and box office achievement, the best actor in a drama shocker went to Wagner Moura over front-runner Michael B. Jordan.

Julia Roberts received a standing ovation just for being Julia Roberts (goals), but best actress in a drama went to a stunning Jessie Buckley for Hamnet—which also won best drama motion picture. Director Chloé Zhao was shook!

Jean Smart hilariously called herself a “greedy bitch” winning for Hacks, and Rose Byrne joked her husband was at a reptile expo instead of the ceremony. We need details, Rose!

Apple TV had a huge night with Pluribus and Seth Rogen’s The Studio winning big. And Netflix’s record-breaking KPop Demon Hunters scored for best animated film and song, inspiring Glaser to break into her own K-pop serenade!

Phew! What a night of nostalgia, surprises, and pure glamour. The 83rd Golden Globes proved Hollywood’s biggest party is back, baby! Until next year!
