Broadway Sensation Chicago Set to Dazzle Dubai Audiences This December

One of the world’s most celebrated musicals is returning to the UAE stage

Dubai’s entertainment calendar is about to get a major Broadway upgrade as the internationally acclaimed musical Chicago arrives at Coca-Cola Arena for a limited engagement this December.

Running from December 16 to 20, the award-winning production will bring eight performances to the city, transporting audiences into the glamour, ambition and scandal of the Roaring Twenties.

Celebrated as one of the longest-running musicals in Broadway history, Chicago follows the stories of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two rival performers navigating fame, crime and media frenzy in Jazz Age America. Packed with sharp choreography, unforgettable characters and timeless music, the show remains a global favourite nearly three decades after its Broadway revival.

Fans can look forward to hearing some of musical theatre’s most iconic numbers performed live, including All That Jazz, Razzle Dazzle and Cell Block Tango.

Tickets are already available, with prices ranging from AED 49 to AED 799 depending on the performance date and seating category. Afternoon performances will begin at 3pm, while evening shows are scheduled for 8pm.

The Dubai engagement also coincides with a landmark year for the production, as Chicago celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Broadway revival. Over the past three decades, the musical has captivated audiences across the globe, earning multiple awards and cementing its status as a theatre classic.

For lovers of live entertainment, this is one of the season’s most anticipated productions—and a rare opportunity to experience a Broadway phenomenon on Dubai’s biggest stage.
